BRUNCH OFFER IN SCHOOLS TO 11.000 STUDENTS IN MUNICIPAL SCHOOLS
Five companies join forces for children
 

With a sense of responsibility towards the vulnerable groups directly affected by the economic crisis and with a sensitivity to childhood, Grigoris co-operates with the Arabian Dairy companies, Coca-Cola Hellenic, Karamolegos and Optima with Adoro Gouda cheese, Their forces at the initiative of the competent Ministries of Labor, Social Security and Social Solidarity and Education, Research & Religious Affairs, and support a program for the provision of students in schools that present alarming Food insecurity.
 
The program began on November 18 and concerns the provision of a decadic, to nearly 11,000 students, in 64 Primary Schools in Attica and co-located Kindergartens.
 
The participating companies took over the total cost of raw materials, making and selling the produce and offering about 550,000 servings, including daily: Thessaloniki bun, toast with cheese and turkey and natural orange juice. Very important is the contribution of the Parents and Guardian clubs of the schools, which with the volunteer groups help to reach the schools in the early days.
 
The main objective is to support vulnerable groups, such as pupils and their families, in areas with serious social and economic problems.
 
The only way to continue and expand this initiative is to involve as many companies as possible in order to reinforce this effort with services and products. Volunteering and teamwork are an important way of tackling the consequences of the social crisis for children and their families in need of support.For this reason, the participating companies are also calling on other companies to contribute with their contribution to this endeavor.
 
It is a wish and a hope for everyone to be an example of cooperation and offer of supply with which this important social responsibility action has been designed and implemented to support more children. Children are the future and we all need it.
